Our wine courses and wine tasting events focus on enjoying wine and learning more in a relaxed and informal setting, with friendly people. We will help you to enjoy wine that little drop more. If you know what you like and want to find out why, our courses provide the answer for you.
Our wine courses suit all levels of wine knowledge and experience, and we offer a range of courses for you to enjoy.
Our 10 week wine course provides a great introduction to wine covering a wide range of topics in our World tour, the 5-week courses provide a deeper insight into a country or specific region, while our Saturday course is a great way of just sipping back and tasting over 12 delicious wines. Or try our one evening tastings, there are many to choose from, and as with all of our wine courses - no previous wine knowledge is required.
The good news for you is we are not affiliated to any wine merchants or retailers and do not sell wine so we can offer unbiased and independent advice on your wine needs..... you will not experience any pressure or obligation to buy any wine from us!.
Don't forget that all of these courses can be bought as Gift Vouchers for your friends and family. There are also Wine Schools in Birmingham , London, Manchester and Newcastle as well as events in Edinburgh and Leeds so you can send Wine tasting Gift Vouchers to your family wherever they live.

Venue and Times
Lancashire wine tasting and Lancashire wine courses are run at City Business Centre, in the heart of the City of Preston, and at The Ruskin Hotel in Blackpool, just 10 minutes from Blackpool North Station and 3 minutes from the famous Blackpool Prom Tram Service.. Evening courses start at 7pm and last for 2 hours. Saturday and Sunday courses start at 11am, include a 2 course lunch and finish at 4pm.
The City Business centre, provides a pleasant traditional yet state-of-the-art equipped venue. It is located on Winckley St. within easy walking distance of Preston Railway Station and Preston Bus Station. There are several car parks within easy reach. Free parking is available after 6 p.m. on Winckley Square. Winckley St. is a pleasant cobbled street with many good restaurants either on the street or just a short walk away so why not make a night of it.
For directions just go to the City Business Centre web site. There are frequent trains from Blackpool, Blackburn, Bolton, Chorley, Lancaster and Wigan as well as other Lancashire towns. In most cases journey times are well under 30 minutes even on a Saturday. To check train timetables see the National Rail Enquiries web site.
